In 2005, she graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia with a BS in Studio Art. After a short time in New York City working in the Music Industry, she moved to Colorado Springs and received a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Colorado College.
Besides art, Holly’s other love is music. She was a Music Industry minor in college and spent most of her free time working for JMU’s student-run radio station, WXJM. Besides being a Deejay, she was Co-Coordinator for the Mid-Atlantic College Radio Conference, one of the nation’s largest non-profit independent music and arts festivals. Holly helps with the MSHS student radio station, Mustang 103.3, and is working with students to coordinate their annual Concert on the Rocks Fundraiser.
Holly grew up all over the country as part of an Air Force family. She feels fortunate to have lived in many places and met many special people, but is happy to be settled in Colorado Springs. When she’s not teaching or creating her own art, you’ll likely find Holly out and about supporting local artists and musicians.
